About MSD Dental Studio
A dental practice built to a higher standard
Independent, doctor-owned, and invested in the Coral Springs community.

Why we started MSD
We answer to no one but our patients
Before MSD, Dr. Dillon and Dr. Shantall were colleagues having the same conversation behind closed doors: this isn’t the dentistry we trained for. Somewhere along the way, volume targets and billing codes had crowded out the part that actually matters — solving the problem underneath, and creating a calm enough space for people to feel ready to say “yes” and to feel like they finally had a team advocating for them.
“We didn’t spend nine years in training to become dental procedure box-checkers — we did it to help people.”
So they built one — a practice that’s small, independent, and built entirely around the people they treat.
That independence is the whole point. In larger groups, even a dentist who holds the clinical license often has less say in the team’s training and the structure of visits. Here, no outside company sets quotas or decides how many minutes you’re worth — the two of us make every call about your care, together, based on what’s actually right for you.
Two owners, one coordinated plan
Two dentists who plan your care together
We’re equal co-founders with complementary strengths. Dr. Dillon rebuilds and restores teeth; Dr. Shantall focuses on prevention and alignment. On anything significant, we plan it together — combining two experienced perspectives into one clear, coordinated recommendation. Most of the time you get one dentist’s read. Here you get two who collaborate closely every day, and who have both pursued advanced training at the Kois Center.
“Matt is the most relentless learner I know. Dentistry has changed so much — the materials, the digital tools, what’s actually possible for patients — and he’s always chasing the next bit of training so our patients feel the benefit. It’s a big part of why I wanted to build this with him.”— Dr. Shantall Di Loreto
How we think about your teeth
Keep what’s healthy. Catch problems early. Fix what needs fixing in a way that lasts. We explain everything in plain language so you can make the call with us, not just nod along. No secret philosophy — just attention and honesty.
“What patients feel with Shantall is calm. People walk in tense and somehow leave relaxed — she has a way of making the chair feel safe. I’ve watched her turn lifelong dental anxiety into trust more times than I can count.”— Dr. Matthew Dillon
Here for all of North Broward
We’re proud to be part of the Broward community and to care for neighbors throughout North Broward — Coral Springs, Parkland, Coconut Creek, Margate, Tamarac, and beyond — in English and Spanish, and to support local causes close to us, including animal rescue.
Dentistry is a team sport
An entire network behind your care
No single dentist has every answer. That’s why we’ve intentionally built relationships with specialists whose work we respect and trust throughout South Florida.
When a patient needs additional expertise, we can often communicate directly with the specialist, review records together, discuss treatment options, and help coordinate care from start to finish. Our patients benefit from the experience of an entire network while still having a dental home that knows them personally.
Whether treatment stays entirely within our office or involves a specialist, our responsibility remains the same: helping you understand your options and guiding you toward the best long-term outcome.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What does “independent, doctor-owned” mean?
It means no outside company or dental group sets quotas or decides your treatment. The two dentists who own MSD make every call about your care, together.
Who owns MSD Dental Studio?
Dr. Matthew Dillon and Dr. Shantall Di Loreto, equal co-founders who practice side by side in Coral Springs.
What does “MSD” stand for — is it related to the high school in Parkland?
No — “MSD” comes from our own initials: Dr. Matthew Dillon and Dr. Shantall Di Loreto. The shared initials with the Parkland high school weren’t top of mind when we named the practice; people kindly pointed it out to us after we’d opened. We have a great deal of respect for that school and community, and we hope our name isn’t a source of confusion — it simply reflects the two doctors behind the practice.
Come meet an independent, doctor-owned practice.
We’d be glad to show you what calm, coordinated dentistry feels like.
