Independent · Doctor-Owned & Operated
The people who own MSD are the people who treat you.
MSD is independent — owned and operated by the two dentists responsible for your care. Every recommendation comes straight from them, based on what your mouth actually needs.
That independence is deliberate. It's why you see the same doctors each visit, why your plan is built around your health, and why we stayed out of the corporate-dentistry model that has swallowed so many practices — no quotas, no rotating dentists, no one upstairs watching the numbers.
When we recommend treatment, it's because you need it. That's the whole reason we stayed independent.
How we work
Two dentists. One coordinated plan.
Most dental offices have one dentist making every decision. At MSD Dental Studio, Dr. Matthew Dillon, DDS, MAGD, FICOI, and Dr. Shantall Di Loreto, DDS, work together every day — discussing options, diagnoses, and long-term outcomes. You get two perspectives on the decisions that matter, and the same doctors every visit.
- Two experienced perspectives on important decisions
- The same doctors, every visit — never handed off
The best decisions happen when thoughtful people collaborate.
Our philosophy
Good dentistry isn’t just fixing what’s broken — it’s understanding why it broke, so it doesn’t keep happening. We find the cause, explain it plainly, and build a plan you actually understand.
What to expect
What every patient can count on
- An itemized price before we begin, and a straight answer if insurance pays differently
- Clear plans and honest recommendations
- We'll tell you when something can wait
- An English & Spanish-speaking team
- Most major PPO plans accepted
- Flexible financing & an in-house membership plan
Cleanings & prevention
Everyone here works from the same picture of your mouth.
A cleaning is one of the most common reasons people come in, and often it’s how we meet you. Our job from there is to make sure you and everyone caring for you are working from the same understanding of what’s going on — not a different story depending on who’s in the room that day.
That starts with being thorough at your checkup. Gum measurements, photographs, radiographs, your history, the habits and risk factors that actually apply to you. We take in a lot, we write it down, and we update it every visit rather than starting fresh each time. Change is much easier to see when you have something to compare it to.
The doctors and the clinical team go over the same risk factors and the same recurring problems together, so we’re all reading a mouth the same way. What one of us notices reaches the rest of us.
- Cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive care
- Thorough checkups — measurements, photos, and radiographs, kept current
- One shared standard for what gets flagged, across the whole team
- Straight answers about what’s changing, what isn’t, and what can wait
We care about how a visit feels. We care more about where your teeth are in ten years.

Sound familiar?
Many of our patients come to us because:
- They feel rushed at their current office

- They want to understand what’s happening, and why
Our goal is simple: help you understand your options, answer your questions, and create a plan that makes sense for your goals.
Our new-patient promise

Meet your doctors
The two people who’ll be looking after you
Dr. Matthew Dillon enjoys the detective work of dentistry. A cavity or cracked tooth is easy to see; the reason it happened isn’t. He reads the whole picture and works out why teeth break down, so you stay ahead of bigger problems before they get complicated. When rebuilding is the right call, that’s his craft: implants, crowns, and restoring teeth that have been through a lot. Patients mention two things — how gently he works, and how clearly he explains before he does it.
Dr. Shantall sets the standard for the patient experience here. She makes sure you’re greeted warmly, your time is respected, you understand your plan, and you feel genuinely cared for from the front desk to the chair. Her own work keeps your mouth healthy and builds confidence — cleanings, prevention, and clear aligners — and she stays close to every detail, so the plan you agreed to is the plan that gets done.
They handle most of your care right here, bringing in trusted specialists only when it’s genuinely best for you — planning together, so nothing falls through the cracks. Dr. Dillon studied at the University of Florida and Dr. Shantall at Nova Southeastern; both earned their dental degrees at NYU, and both have pursued advanced training at the Kois Center.
